Chinese animated film nominated for 67th Berlin International Film Festival


(Shanghai Daily) "Have A Nice Day," an animated feature film by Chinese director Liu Jian, is nominated for the coming 67th Berlin International Film Festival, officials announced last night.

It is the first time for a Chinese animated feature film to be selected into the festival's main competition.
It took director Liu 3 years to independently make the film. He also wrote the script for the black-humored and inspiring story about dream and the essence of life.
The film received hails for its impelling visual elements and imagination. It is the second animated production of Liu following "Piercing I," a winner of animated film festivals in Italy and South Korea.
