Morning ladies. So for the last day in my Christmas outfit inspiration posts I'm thinking ahead to New Years Eve. I know some people don't celebrate the start of the New Year & instead prefer a quiet night in after all the Christmas celebrations. We generally spend the evening at home with friends enjoying lots of nibbles, plenty of bubbles & board games & it's a lovely way to mark the passing of the old year & the arrival of the new with all the hopes & dreams it brings.

Even though we're home we still like to make an effort clothes wise so I've concentrated my suggestions on dressing up. Although again for this post I seem to have been drawn to mainly monochrome separates that are great wardrobe staples.

Back to today & after a lovely but busy day in London yesterday, today is all about a nice quiet one at home & chilling with my boys. So perfect timing to bring out my new stripe & ruffle shirt. I just love the detailing on the collar & cuffs.
