Features in a single “Pori Paththi” from the much awaited Tamil film RUM to release on Nov 2nd
The face of hip hop in India has collaborated with multi talented Anirudh for a single “Pori Paththi” from the much awaited Tamil film Rum. This song has DIVINE rap in Hindi of which the lyrics, penned by him, are hard hitting and in synch with the essence of the song.
DIVINE and Anirudh got together at a Sony Music showcase night where the duo decided to work together and this song is a result of that. Says DIVINE, “Anirudh is an extremely talented producer, with a fresh style and it was great to work with him. When I first heard the track I started flowing my verse instantly and sent him my part. This is a huge opportunity for me as with this song my voice will reach to audiences in the South of India too.” He ends it by saying,“Gully Gang in the South Macha!”
“Pori Paththi” is an EDM track sung by the gifted Diwakar and talks about money and the importance of money in today life. DIVINE’s rap highlights how money can make you and if not handled with humility it can break you too! The song releases on November 2nd .
